Maxygen was a leader in the evolution and optimization of genes and proteins for high-value commercial products. To better understand Maxygen's complex technology of DNA shuffling was told through the simple concept of the birds and the bees and classic breeding. The over-saturated color photography was inspired by the simple outdoor nature movies produced by Disney in the 1960's.
